A safe space to share feminine embodiment practice, meditation, sacred feminine alchemy, sound and rhythm ~ expanding consciousness together.
Join us for a journey into the heart of the mysteries of the Sacred Feminine.
Magic happens when women circle together!
Why women’s circles?
A harvard study has shown that women who have close female friendships are staying healthier and happier as they age .
In many cultures women live as a community of sisters, sharing the experience of life together. Traditions like the Red Tent are creating a sacred space for women to gather during menstrual cycles, as a time of nurturing and caring for one another. In western cultures women are often isolated in their homes. When women support one another, they enrich the lives of their families and communities around them too.
A 2006 Breast Cancer Study has shown that women with close friends were four times more likely to survive .
Women share their bare souls in connection with one another, this alone is a deeply healing experience. Through feeling this connection and bonding with each other, the hormone oxytocin is released, which studies show is directly linked to health.
Drs Laura Klein and Shelley Taylor refer to it as the “tend and befriend” pattern , and it happens with not only humans, but also the females of many species. When we actually engage in tending or befriending, even more oxytocin is released, further countering stress and calming us down.
Attending a feminine wisdom circle could assist us to :
- practice self-care through making time for ourselves;
- inspire each other by staying accountable to intentions we set for ourselves;
- through feminine wisdom practice we feel a sense of restoring our bodies, hearts & minds;
- feel supported and nourished;
- in stillness we can hear our intuitive wisdom.
We will circle twice a month, on a Wednesday evening, closest to the New and Full Moons of each monthly cycle.
